Simple Oval Silver Plated Bangle by Charles Buyers Heathergems are handcrafted from the stems of Scottish heather, renowned for its purple bloom. The heather is collected from the Perthshire hills. The steams are then dried, shotblasted to remove the bark and dyed various colours. Stems of different colours are mixed and compressed into a block. Approximately eighty tons of pressure is required to press the stems together. Heathergems are unique and no two are ever exactly the same. Where possible we aim to match the colour in the picture but unless a specific colour is requested in the special instruction box at checkout colours may vary.
